Eastern Kentucky Child Care Coalition Eastern Kentucky USDA Food Program Sponsorhas been a USDA Food Program Sponsor for family child care since 1993. In-home child care providers can receive federal reimbursement for snacks and meals. This means increased income for the provider with no increased costs for parents. The purpose of this program is to improve nutrition for children in family child care.

Who can participate?

Registered, Certified, and Type II family child care providers can enroll on the food program.  Eastern KY Child Care Coalition serves family child care providers in 40 counties throughout central, southeastern, and eastern Kentucky.  We provide training for you to get started on the program, as well as all of the initial forms you need.

Contact Michelle Reed or MaryKay Gilbertson at 1-800-548-4599 for more information.

For providers currently participating in the program, you can download any of the forms you need by clicking on the name of the form.  The Infant Menu and Child Menu forms are formatted to fit paper that is 8.5″ x 14″.  To print copies that are on regular sized paper (8.5″ x 11″), follow these instructions:  Once you have opened the form and are ready to print, look at the options in the “print” box.  Towards the bottom, under “Zoom”, find the one that says, “Scale to paper size:” and choose “8 1/2 x 11 in” from the drop-down box.  Then click on “OK”.  Your menu should print out on regular sized paper.
