EKCCC has been providing high quality training for child care providers since our inception in 1990. One of our first goals as an agency was to provide accessible training to the rural areas of Southeastern Kentucky, so child care providers would no longer have to travel great distances to get the professional development they so desperately needed. EKCCC is the primary child care training agency for Southeastern Kentucky.

High-quality child care is directly linked to the education and training of the staff. EKCCC continues to work hard to increase the knowledge and education of all child care providers in Southeastern Kentucky. Quality training creates a more professional and rewarding work experience for child care workers, where they feel that they are actually part of an important and respected profession, as well as creates an environment where parents feel comfortable leaving their children in the care of others. Most importantly, the increase in quality child care allows children to learn, grow and flourish in a caring & responsive environment.
